The school commenced its academic year under the leadership of Shri R. R. Dixit as Principal. His contribution in building the three wings of NCC has inspired many cadets to join the NDA. The qualities of leadership, self discipline, sportsmanship, team spirit sportsmanship are inculcated by conducting activities described below.

DUSHERA CELEBRATION

On the occasion of DASSERA, Ashwa pooja was performed by Hon. Secretary Capt.Shivaji Mahadkar and Shastra Pooja was performed by Treasurer shri Diliprao Umberkar of A.I.S.S.M.S. PUNE.

SHRAMJIVI  SPORTS

Shramjivis are the backbone of the administration of school, we praise their hard work by organizing sports for them on the occasion of makar sankrant . Competition in cock fighting, slow cycling, sack race lemon-spoon race were organized by std. x students and prizes were given away Mrs. P. A. Bhalekar

PT AND DRILL COMPETITION

This event was organized on Tuesday 21st Sept 2010 in our school campus at 8 a. m. We had invited Physical instructers from NCC Group as Judges for the same.

The following displays were performed by the boys for PT

Baroda : Flag of NCC and Olympics.

Gwalior :New symbol of Rupee and Literacy programme symbol.

Indore : Symbol of ISI unity.

Kolhapur: CWG 2010 Delhi and Anchor.

Gwalior House bagged first position in PT and Kolhapur in Drill.

SCHOOL CAMP

Our school camp for the boys of Secondary was held at Mahabaleshwar, Dist. Satara, from 31st Jan to 4h February 2010. The President of our Society (A.I.S.S.M.S.) H.H. Shrimant Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj –Hon. Secretary (A.I.S.S.M.S.) Capt. S.S. Mahadkar along with other members took active role in organizing this camp. Principal Shri. R.R. Dixit held the post of Camp Commandant and effectively conducted the camp with the staff members of our School . During the course of the camp, boys enjoyed trekking, river valley crossing, rappelling and visit to place of historical and religious importance.

Educational Trips

We organized class wise the educational trips to the following places as planned in our calendar.

Class Teachers escorted the students.

New Boys were taken to Neelkanteshwar for picnic in the beginning of term.

Sports

The school football team participated in IPSC FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT .The team reached semi-final by defeating Mayo College and Mann public School. We lost the semi- finals to Modern college in sudden Death.

Two boys master Jagtap Abhishek & Master Mahesh Gaikwad have been selected to represent . IPSC football Team under 17 yrs for the national level Football Tournament organized by S. G. F. I.
